@narnianetwork voyage 17: favorite locations - The Western Wilds
To the West of the Kingdom of Narnia lies the wild areas of the West, which are mostly unexplored. The only locations known to be in the Westerly regions are the Garden which Polly, Digory and Fledge encountered the Witch Jadis, and the country of Telmar.
It is believed the West is full of mountains, and dense woodland making it difficult to traverse. However, it also contains many beautiful regions of untouched meadows, valleys and lakes, occupied only by the native wildlife and passed through by traders, merchants and hunters.

History of Narnia + Event 1: WORLDBUILDING → “The Golden Age”
The Golden Age, an age of prosperity and peace, but also a time of resolution and with it conflict. While the people of Narnia thive, now they are able to grow their own food and provide themselves with their needs there are greater matters on hand for the four monarchs, namely the remains of the White Witch’s Army which hold great influence in the world and seek aid from foreign powers on an attempt to restore Narnia to the world of the Age of Winter.

Down at Cair Paravel — that’s the castle on the sea coast down at the mouth of this river which ought to be the capital of the whole country if all was as it should be — down at Cair Paravel there are four thrones and it’s a saying in Narnia time out of mind that when two Sons of Adam and two Daughters of Eve sit in those four thrones, then it will be the end not only of the White Witch’s reign but of her life.
The Seven Ages of the KINGDOM OF NARNIA
A wonderful pavilion it was - and especially now when the light of the setting sun fell upon it - with sides of what looked like yellow silk and cords of crimson and tent-pegs of ivory; and high above it on a pole a banner which bore a red rampant lion fluttering in the breeze which was blowing in their faces from the far-off sea.
